During a rapid-fire interview with Game Informer, Ed Boon, director at NetherRealm, revealed some interesting facts about the sales of past Mortal Kombat games. He confirmed that Mortal Kombat X has sold almost 11 million copies. By comparison, Mortal Kombat (2011) sold around five million copies as of 2015.
Mortal Kombat X is available for purchase on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
