Mission Impossible: Fallout Doesn’t Budge Against Christoper Robin

The movie Mission Impossible: Fallout continued to stay on top of the domestic box office over the weekend. Even with some stiff competition from Winnie the Pooh and his pals, the Tom Cruise action series didn’t budge.

Mission Impossible: Fallout grossed an estimated $35 million bringing the domestic total to $124 million. The worldwide total for the film is sitting well under $500 million at $329 million. Opening in second place this weekend is Disney’s Christopher Robin. The movie has opened with $25 million. Last weekend I listed a few movies that were coming out that had a chance to take the top spot. It seems that I was wrong since The Spy Who Dumped Me had a terrible opening weekend with $12.3 million.

Weekend Top Five

5. The Equalizer 2 $8.8 million

4. Mama Mia 2 $9 million

3. The Spy Who Dumped Me $12.3 million

2. Disney’s Christoper Robin $25 million

1. Mission Impossible: Fallout $35 Million

Next week the giant shark movie The Meg is coming out along with a few more interesting films. Dog Days (2018), BlacKkKlansman, and the awful looking horror movie Slender Man. Mission Impossible: Fallout seems to be the last big Summer blockbuster being released. You could say that The Meg is also one of those movies, we just wont know until the movie is released and those box office numbers come in.
