Metro Exodus, the latest game in the Metro series, is being developed by 4A Games and published by Deep Silver, a subsidiary of THQ Nordic. Today, 4A Games announced that Metro Exodus is coming to the Epic Games Store. The ability to purchase the game on Steam will be removed however, existing pre-orders will be fulfilled and Steam owners of Metro Exodus will get access to all the updates and DLC as they release.
Dr. Klemens Kundratitz, CEO at Deep Silver, stated that “Epic’s generous revenue terms are a game changer that will allow publishers to invest more into content creation, or pass on savings to the players. By teaming up with Epic we will be able to invest more into the future of Metro and our ongoing partnership with series developer 4A Games, to the benefit of our Metro fans.”
You can pre-order Metro Exodus through the Epic Games Store right here. The standard edition is $49.99 USD, while the Gold Edition is $74.99 USD. Metro Exodus will release on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on February 15th, 2019.
