A new look at Mass Effect: Andromeda was shown today during EA’s E3 presentation. The video shown was a mix between a normal trailer and a behind the scenes video.
The trailer highly focuses on the exploration in the game, starting off with real footage of humanity’s current space exploration. The trailer then shifts focus to the world of Mass Effect, with narration on how the game will take players to many different alien worlds in a new galaxy. It appears that exploring new worlds will be a huge part of the game; the worlds look extremely detailed and full of life.
Mass Effect fans will see tons of recognizable elements from the trailer including races from the original trilogy like Asari, Krogan, Salarians and Turians. The design of the game’s new ship is also reminiscent of the Normandy from the first three games.
Sadly, no official release date was given to the game outside of 2017.
