One of 2017’s fighting games, Marvel vs Capcom Infinite, hasn’t exactly been performing well. After it released in September 2017 to mixed reviews, the game barely touched the charts. Per Capcom’s financial report, it only sold around one million copies through the end of 2017. It’s clear the game needs a bit of a boost. So, with all that in mind, an interesting update came through today, as it appears that Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite now has Xbox Play Anywhere support.

As you can see, it clearly states that the game has Xbox Play Anywhere support. It’s an interesting move, possibly as an incentive to get more Xbox One/Windows 10 players to purchase it. While Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite still isn’t listed on the official Xbox Play Anywhere page, I’m guessing it will be updated within a short amount of time. There aren’t many third-party games, bar some exceptions like Resident Evil 7: Biohazard or Middle-earth: Shadow of War, so this would be a notable addition.
For more information about the game, here’s the official synopsis:Â
