A new trailer for Kingdom Hearts III was quietly released on the game’s YouTube channel and it’s a doozy – Woody, Buzz Lightyear and the rest of the Toy Story gang will team up with Sora’s crew against Organization XIII and the Heartless.
The trailer begins by revisiting settings seen in previous Kingdom Hearts games when Sora, Donald and Goofy suddenly find themselves in a rather familiar bedroom. What’s more – they have taken on the appearance of toys. After a brief tussle with several Heartless, our heroes find themselves face-to-face with Woody and characters from the Toy Story universe. It seems that Andy and some of the other toys have vanished and the two teams agree to work together. Their first mission is to get to the Galaxy Toys store.
I won’t spoil the rest of the trailer but it looks fantastic. You can watch it below.
The Kingdom Hearts III trailer also confirms a release window of sorts. The game will come to PS4 and Xbox One sometime in 2018. That is an awfully large release window but it is nice to have confirmation that this will be out next year.
