We all know that anime is becoming increasingly more popular as each year passes and the government of Tokyo has noticed that. This is why their stepping in to push anime to the next level. The “Anime Overseas Expansion Step-Up Program”, will aim to promote Japanese animation to a global market. The program will bring workshops and seminars along with a chance for foreigners to offer up some of their ideas through an international contest.
The seminars are currently being planned to take place between August and October of this year. As for the workshops, expect those to start up sometime in November.
