Ninja Theory’s critically acclaimed Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is getting the VR treatment and will be coming to Oculus Rift and HTC Vive on July 31st, 2018. Hellblade has been one of the most memorable story-based games that released in 2017 to massive critical acclaim and quickly finding a massive cult following. Now gamers who enjoyed the original experience can lose their mind all over again with the VR version. Which if you already own Hellblade on Steam, you will receive the VR edition for free. Sadly for PSVR owners, it was detailed by the developers on Twitter that it would simply not be possible to bring the VR portion of this game to the PlayStation 4.

For those that are interested, Ninja Theory released a video detailing the challenges they faced in developing the game in VR. It is a very interesting watch, as you can see some of the innovation and creativity that was required to bring this game into VR.
