The second expansion for Ghost Recon Wildlands has been released to season pass holders and will release for standard edition owners on June 6, 2017. In this article we are going to break down what content in the Fallen Ghosts Expansion. Lets kick it!
The story to this expansion is pretty cut and dry. Its important to note that the events in this expansion takes place after the game. After the Ghosts leave Bolivia they come back for an extraction mission. The targets of priority are CIA agents and American citizens trapped in Bolivia. While flying over a forest the Squad gets shot down by Los Extranjeros. Los Extranjeros are ex – mercenaries whom were brought in to bring order after the Unidad Forces couldn’t handle the remaing factions of the Santa Blanca. Trapped in the forest, the Squad has to survive the attacking enemies and kill another boss.
What’s New
There is quite a bit of content in this expainson such as:
- Four new enemy types – The Los Extranjeros  come in four types: Armored Unit, Covert Ops, Elite Snipers, and Jammers. The Armored Unit are enemies that are bulletproof everywhere but the head. The Covert Ops are enemies that are cloaked and require thermal Heat Vision to see them. Elite Snipers are better snipers with improve accuracy and aim. The Jammers are enemies that jam any electronic deceive that your squad is using.
- 16 new missions
- 6 new weapons including a Crossbow as seen in the trailer.
- The level cap has been raised from 30 to 35.
- 2 new difficulty setting, Advanced and Expert.
