Gears of War: Ultimate retains it’s Dominance as the Best Selling Digital Game

It’s the first week of 2016 and Gears of War remains the best selling digital title on Xbox One for another week. Gears of War: Ultimate is nipping at the Halo 5: Guardians launch in total sales and it might not be far off in challenging the best selling digital game of all time.

Rise of the Tomb Raider takes another spot in the top ten after it was revealed that it sold ‘way way more than 1 million’ since launch. It’s been in the top 10 digital sales chart since launch, and grabbed the number 1 spot during the Countdown sales week. Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 dropped out of the top spot as more people purchase Fallout 4 which was on sale this week. Ark: Survival Evolved is still the second most downloaded game on Xbox One, and Thief is at number one.
