Final Fantasy XV‘s last DLC, Episode Ardyn, is on the way. The Final Fantasy XV Episode Ardyn release date has been announced. Fans will be able to play this prequel DLC on March 26th, 2019. In addition to the release date, Square Enix has released the Prologue, an animated video that shows what happened two thousand years ago.

Late last year, we learned the shocking news that Hajime Tabata, Director of Final Fantasy XV, had left Square Enix and that three of the four remaining DLCs for Final Fantasy XV had been cancelled. Hajime Tabata has since founded his own studio, JP Games, Inc.
While it’s still disappointing that three of the DLCs have been cancelled, it is nice that players will get some closure through this DLC focused on Ardyn. Square Enix has not yet released any pricing details for this DLC episode. Final Fantasy XV is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
