Filming for Indiana Jones 5 to begin in roughly two months

Lucasfilm will begin shooting Indiana Jones 5 during the next two months according to the man himself, Harrison Ford. The announcement was made during an interview with CBS. As you might expect, Steven Spielberg will helm the production as executive producer and he will also serve as director.

We have no idea what Indy’s next adventure entails. He will presumably be chasing after some kind of powerful artifact but there is no telling whether it will be mystical in nature as we saw with the first three films or extraterrestial in origin. The script is being kept under very intense security and I would not be surprised if there are a number of fake scripts to throw off internet slueths. We are also wondering if Karen Allen will once againr eprise her role as Marion Ravenwood in Indiana Jones 5. She was last seen marrying Professor Jones at the end of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. For whatever it may be worth, her IMDB profile makes no mention of being involved in the film. Just no Shia LaBeouf, please.

Indiana Jones 5 is currently scheduled to release on July 9th of next year. It is nice to see that a cameo in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will not be Harrison Ford’s final appearance in a Disney film. Speaking of Ford, his newest film is Call of the Wild and it comes out next week. Yours truly will be reviewing it so please check back for that.
