It is almost hard to believe that it has been over two years since we saw the reveal of Quantum Break, an upcoming game from the developers of Alan Wake.The Xbox One is a very different console than it was back then and since the reveal we have played some magnificent games but we still do not know all that much about the enigmatic Quantum Break.
That will change in less than two weeks at Microsoft’s press conference at Gamescom. Thomas Puha, the new head of Public Relations over at Remedy Entertainment has acknowledged it has been a long time since news about Quantum Break has been released and that there will be a lot to show at Gamescom this year.
Set in the Northeastern United States, Quantum Break is a third person action game. The story is set around three characters who can manipulate time after a failed experiment. The game is also tied to a live action series that further develops the narrative.
Microsoft will also show more footage from ScaleBound and Crackdown as well as announce at least two new games at this year’s Gamescom press conference.
