The Rising of the Shield Hero anime has become one of the most watched shows for the winter season. Now Crunchyroll has announced that the English dub for the series will be releasing simultaneously with Japan. If you are wondering when the English dubs will be releaased you are in luck; you can officially start watching the English dub of the series right now. Billy Kametz, the voice of Josuke in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Unbreakable Diamond, will be the voice of the main protagonist, Naofumi Iwatani.
All six episodes are available to watch in English dub. As for new episodes that have yet to air – those will be released within 15 minutes of its English sub counterpart. If you haven’t heard of The Rising of the Shield Hero, here is a brief synopsis: “College student Iwatani Naofumi is reading a book titled “The Records of the Four Cardinal Weapons” in the library when he is suddenly summoned to another world and told he has to save the world as the Shield Hero, one of the Four Cardinal Heroes. And one morning, he finds all his money and equipment gone.”
