Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age is Heading to the West!

Square Enix has announced that Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age is coming to the West in 2018. The game will be localized in five different languages. Dragon Quest XI was released in Japan on July 29, 2017 for the PS4 and the 3DS. A Switch port is also in development, but there is no announcement as to when it will release.

The creator of Dragon Quest Yuji Horii has shared a video to fans about the upcoming game, which you can watch below.

If you have not heard of Dragon Quest X1, here is a synopsis of the game from Square Enix:

The highly anticipated latest entry to the beloved Dragon Quest video game franchise follows the adventure of a hero who must solve the mystery of his fate with the aid of a charming cast of supporting characters. Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age will offer a world of adventure, exploration and instances of heroism— all brought to life by the character art of famed manga artist Akira Toriyama and the memorable music of composer Koichi Sugiyama.

Square Enix has also released some gameplay of the game running on the vita via remote play on the PS4. Check out the video below.
