If you’ve been waiting for Code Vein to arrive, unfortunately you’ll have to wait a while longer. While it was previously scheduled to release on September 27th, Bandai Namco Entertainment has decided to have Code Vein delayed until sometime in 2019.
Here’s Bandai Namco’s statement on having Code Vein delayed:Â
Dear CODE VEIN fans,Â
A big thank you to everyone who came out to play our demo at Anime Expo and E3. Based on all the feedback we have received over the last few months, we have decided to push back the release in 2019. We want to refine the gameplay even more and further exceed your expectations upon full release.Â
This will help ensure that the final product delivers on the expectations that you all have for the game. Again, thank you for all the support and for your patience. Please stay tuned to our social channels for further updates regarding CODE VEIN.Â

While it is unfortunate to see this game delayed, ultimately it’s likely for the best. The additional time will of course allow for more polish and the Fall 2018 lineup is already extremely packed. When Code Vein‘s new release date is confirmed, we’ll be sure to let you know.
