Cliffy B (Cliff Bleszinki) wrote an interesting tweet. He wrote, “Just got off the phone with a friend who is doing some writing on the next Gears game. Sounds like we will all be very pleased with it. :)”
The story of Gears of War 4 is largely unknown at this time. We do know that the story takes place directly after the events of Gears of War 3 and will be personal, intimate and dark. There will also be a new enemy, which was shown at Microsoft’s 2015 E3 press conference.
With Cliffy B giving the thumbs up to the Gears of War 4 story and also being the creator of the Gears of War franchise, his comment is very encouraging since we don’t know much about the story of the game. Cliffy B is currently busy working on his own game called Lawbreakers wih his studio Boss Key Productions. Gears of War 4 is a Xbox One exclusive set to release Fall 2016 with a multiplayer beta coming in the spring.
