CD Projekt Red has expanded over the last couple of years to take on their next massive game, Cyberpunk 2077. It looks like they aren’t done getting help with it. In a press release, CD Projekt Red confirmed that they were establishing a long-term partnership with Digital Scapes.
CD Projekt Red partners with Digital Scapes:
MichaÅ‚ Nowakowski, SVP of Business Development at CD Projekt Red, said that “Cyberpunk 2077 is our most ambitious project to date and we work hard every day to make it a creative and technological achievement. The Digital Scapes team brings aboard a lot of talent, experience and technical knowledge, and I’m very confident our long-term cooperation will add plenty to the game.”
Marcin Chady, Studio Head at Digital Scapes, added that “We are both excited and honoured to work with CD PROJEKT RED. Their incredibly creative and accomplished team of developers have been pushing narrative-driven, role-playing games to unprecedented levels. We look forward to helping them create the very best video games on the planet.”
Digital Scapes is a Canadian studio that specializes in AAA multiplayer games and PC development. CD Projekt Red says that Digital Scapes will aid them in “…optimizing technological solutions for use in the development of Cyberpunk 2077.”
It’s interesting to see this partnership made, especially since CD Projekt Red opened a new studio earlier this year to assist with the development of Cyberpunk 2077. For more information on Cyberpunk 2077, be sure to check out 48 minutes of gameplay right here.
