Captain America: Civil War Will Have A Post Credits Scene

So this is the Russo’s giving you fair warning: Stay in your seat when Civil War’s credits start rolling! Recently in an interview with Forbes, Joe Russo (one of the two directors helming Captain America: Civil War) discussed what will happen after the film ends. Marvel movies are of course well known for having one or even two end credits scenes and it looks like Civil War will be no exception. It makes sense from the studio’s point of view of course as Captain America: Civil War is set to be one of the biggest blockbusters of the summer.

“We can’t say who is going to be in it but we can say that there certainly could be one, or two, maybe three,”

It’s safe to bet that Joe Russo was joking about the three end credits scenes bit, but the question still remains what will the final post credits scenes be? It’s likely that Captain America: Civil War will have two (Marvel’s previous stand alone film Ant-Man also had two final scenes) but there is more than one superhero who could make an appearance. Doctor Strange will be releasing in November and it is widely speculated that we’ll see Benedict Cumberbatch in the post credits (especially as Doctor Strange represents a relatively unknown property to average moviegoers).

The Guardians could also be gracing the big screen once more as the sequel to Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) is currently in production. It’s not yet confirmed whether Starlord and his band of loveable outlaws will be coming back for Infinity Wars but we do know that they have their own film coming out in 2017.

Other possibles are Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk, who will be joining Thor in outerspace in 2017, and potentially a final look at Marvel and Sony’s joint Spider-Man effort.

What would you like to see in the Civil War post credits? Let us know in the comments below!
