During their PAX East 2019 showcase, Gearbox announced that Borderlands: The Handsome Jack Collection is getting 4K DLC. Players on Xbox One X and PS4 Pro will get a an update allowing them to play the game in 4K with HDR support. It’s also bringing 4 player split-screen co-op.
Borderlands: The Handsome Jack Collection includes both Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel.

This is a great update for console players and it’ll be available on April 3rd, 2019 for free. During their presentation, in addition to talking about how Borderlands: The Handsome Jack Collection is getting 4K DLC, Gearbox also announced Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition and Borderlands 3.
