Nintendo Switch owners who are still on the fence about picking up Dragon Quest XI S will have an opportunity to try out a special demo for the game. If you play the demo you will be able to transfer your progress to the full game if you choose to get it. Even better, trying out the demo could net you a couple of nifty in-game items.
Importimg your save file from the demo to the full version of Dragon Quest XI S will give you a bonus Skill Seed which you can use to help power-up one of your characters. You will also receive a premium hero card known as The One Descended from Erdrick to use in Dragon Quest Rivals – a free-to-play collectible card game which is also coming to the Nintendo Switch.
The demo was announced by Square Enix during the Dragon Quest Summer Festival. As of this writing we do not know when the demo will be available to download but we will be sure to let you know when it goes live. The demo has omly been officially announced for Japan but we would not be surprised if it will be available in Western markets as well.
The great news does not end there. The entire world from Dragon Quest X will be available as a place your party of adventurers can travel to. There will also be an enhanced quest which requires you to play the game while your entire party is afflicted with the Shypox spell.
