A brand new year full of fun and surprises lies before us and Xbox Game Pass is bringing in a new batch of titles for us to get started on. You might want to clear your schedules as some of these games will keep you busy for quite a while. Game Pass subscribers can get started right now with the following titles:
You can see the announcement via Twitter below:

There are a couple of surprising titles up there. Ark:Survival Evolved is a Play Anywhere title meaning Game Pass subscribers with a capable Windows 10 PC can download it and play it there if they wish. Episode 1 of Life is Strange 2 is playable now and the rest of the episodes will be on Xbox Game Pass over the next several months. It is very cool to see a title from a major third party publisher effectively launch on Game Pass.
If you don’t see much to your liking, don’t fret. It seems that the rascals over at Team Xbox are still in the habit of withholding a few game announcements until later in the month. A brief exchange between Mike Ybarra and Game Pass marketing guru Matt Percy confirms that there will be additional titles coming to the service later this month. Check out Matt’s comment on the matter below:
Since lots of our members are asking, we moved our Jan 3 game announcements to today… and we’ll have more announcements and great games coming throughout the month as well, just like December! https://t.co/xx4UdLQDUs
