YouTube channel Chisel Pixel has accomplished what Michael Bay has failed to do, create a good Transformers Film. Using live action costumes and clever camera work, Director Lior Molcho has crafted a faithful rendition to the original 80’s Generation 1 cartoon show. The first of what is hinted as a series of episodes, is titled Hero. The project is a non-profit effort in order to (hopefully) avoid legal action by Hasbro, the rightful owners of the Transformers franchise. Even without financial gain, the fan made show is in good hands and demonstrates real love of the franchise. With accurate sound effects, bulky costumes, cheesy dialogue, and retro looking digital effects, Chisel Pixel will bring nostalgia to those who grew up with the Generation 1 robots.
