Coming soon to Xbox One and Windows 10 will be the much anticipated Halo Wars 2. At their press conference today, Microsoft announced that Creative Assembly would be leading production on the sequel to the 2009 strategy game. Better than that because it will be releasing on console in Fall of 2016.
The British developers, Creative Assembly, have in the past worked on the highly successful Total War franchise and last year released Alien Isolation. Halo Wars, which is a spin-off from the popular Halo games, takes place 21 years prior to Halo: Combat Evolved. It garnered reasonable critical success with a score of 4/5 from Metacritic and 8.5/10 from IGN.
