A new Xbox One bundle was announced today on Major Nelson’s blog and this one will let players access quite a few games without having to open their wallets any further. The bundle includes a regular 1TB Xbox One system, a download code for Madden NFL 16 which will be playable when the game launches on August 25th as well as a one year subscription to EA Access. A key feature of EA Access is the ability to play new EA games five days before their official launch date and that will work Madden NFL 16 as well. Microsoft and EA have confirmed that the game will be playable on August 20th for EA Access members. The MSRP for this bundle is $399 US and is available for pre-order right now.
The EA Access Vault currently has a dozen games published by EA and subscribers can play all of these games for no extra cost. At the end of summer EA will add Dragon Age: Inquisition to the Vault. This bundle will allow a new Xbox One owner to play thirteen games as fast as their internet connections can download them. That is a good deal in this writer’s eyes.
