Speculation abound! Jackman is rumoured once again to be joining the star studded cast of X-Men Apocalypse. So we have all heard this particular bit of ‘news’ and it’s been very on and off throughout the year. Now, however, a leather goods company based in Brooklyn has claimed that they were asked to make a duffel bag for Hugh Jackman who they were told “…is filming the new X-Men movie in Montreal.” . The original Instagram post showing the item in question has been taken down, however it would make sense for the iconic Wolverine to make a reappearance in the next X-Men franchise instalment.
20th Century Fox’s Wolverine standalone movies have been exceedingly commercially successful and they show no sign of letting up on the character just yet. Many people though argue that with the popularity of Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult, that there might be less of a need for them to be ‘babysat’ by grandpa Wolverine. Especially with newcomers Kodi Smit-McPhee as Nightcrawler, Sophie Turner as Jean Grey and Alexandra Shipp as Storm all set to make their entrance in Age of Apocalypse (along with a host of other cool mutants).
