If you’re a follower of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, you may be familiar with Mike Pollock’s voice role as the evil Dr. Eggman. Maybe you’ve heard him when watching Sonic X or Sonic Boom, or all of the Sonic games that succeeded Sonic Heroes. However, in what will arguably be his most anticipated delivery yet, Mr. Mike will be reprising his role as the bad doctor in Big’s Big Fishing Adventure 3. Recently my good friend and owner of TailsChannel, Matthew Mannheimer, uploaded a trailer for the game on said channel featuring Pollock in action. You can watch it below.
Despite the fact that Big’s Big Fishing Adventure 3 is labeled as a fangame, it has been acknowledged multiple times by not only Pollock and Roger Craig Smith (the current voice actor for Sonic himself) but also the official Sonic the Hedgehog social media accounts! Alas, SEGA is not making this game – contrary to the “SEGA of Virgin Islands” splash screen.
