If you recall back during Jump Festa 2018, a Yu Yu Hakusho OVA (Original Video Animation) was announced. Now some new details about the upcoming OVA have been revealed. Aditionnaly, the Yu Yu Hakusho anime will be celebrating its 25th anniversary soon and a Blu-ray is planned for re-release in Japan to celebrate.

The OVA will be about the never before seen story of Hiei and Kurama meeting for the first time. The title of the OVA will be called “Two Shots”. Even though fans of the series know about the backstory of both characters, it will be nice to see how these two iconic characters meet along with the many intriguing interactions I’m sure they will have. The OVA is slated to release some time this year
