“Ghost Recon Breakpoint” Announcement at E3

Ubisoft announced the next game in the Ghost Recon series during their E3 2019 press conference. The title of the gameGhost Recon Breakpoint.

The game is set in a place called Auroa, a high security and high-tech utopia that is filled with eco-cities and research into robotics. A former ghost named Colonel Cole D. Walker has taken over Auroa for an unknown purpose. Behind him are armies of other Ghosts that have betrayed their country and now call themselves Wolves. It’s the job of the Ghosts to take down those who have betrayed them. With control over Auroa, the Wolves now have access to all ofthe technology that Auroa has to offer and will use it against you mercilessly to hold their ground.

The game will feature 11 different environments, new survival aspects, and can be played solo or co-op with up to four players. The game also offers a new feature called “Buddy Carry” which will allow you to carry injured teammates away from danger rather than having to leave them until you are able to give them medical attention.

Ubisoft confirmed there will be a beta which will be open from September 5th-8th. The beta will have limited availability for those who sign up but will be guaranteed for those who pre-order the game. Ghost Recon Breakpoint is set to release on October 4th, 2019. This title will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. It’s currently open for preorder and has several different editions available for purchase including a collector’s edition. You can view the different editions and preorder from their site here.
