Gran Turismo Sport Launches In October

After years of delays, the somewhat highly anticipated racing title Gran Turismo Sport will be releasing on the PS4. Announced over at the Playstation Blog by Kazunori Yamauchi, President of Polyphony Digital and the creator of the series. 

Not only did Kazunori praise his development team and the fans waiting for a new Gran Turismo game, he also shared a new trailer showing the beauty of this game. GT Sport will be releasing to the US and Asia on October 17th, October 18th in EU, and October 19th in Japan.

Players will have the chance to pick from three different versions of the game. The Standard, Limited Edition, and Deluxe Digital version. The basic version of the game will cost $59.99 and include the VR mode for players with Playstation VR. The Limited Edition will cost $69.99 and include:

  • GT Sport Starter Pack (8 Cars)
  • $1MM In-Game Credit
  • Livery Sticker Pack
  • 30 GT Sport Themed Avatars
  • Chrome Racing Helmet (For Driver Profile)
  • Limited Steel Book & Packaging
