PS4 owners with a taste for creating and sharing your own adventures can sign up for the Dreams beta right now on the PlayStation website. This beta URL is only open to those who are eighteen years of age or older and who live in the United States or Canada. If you happen to live in Europe then you can sign up for this beta. There is a form requiring your PlayStation account ID, email address along with your name and you are going to have to agree to the Terms of Use for the beta. Once all of that is taken care of you will be considered for the upcoming beta. Developer Media Molecule and Sony are making it clear that signing up does not guarantee you will get to play when the beta goes live on January 8th.

The first Creator Beta for Dreams was held last month but it was exclusively for players on Media Molecule’s mailing list. The upcoming beta lets players try out the creator mode. You could in theory make your own game just as you could with Little Big Planet but you could also make music and presumably even little movies with the puppets you make in this mode.

The fine folks over at Media Molecule held a livestream event earlier today to show off some of the creator tools you will be able to use in Dreams. If you would like to watch that video then you can check it out on their Twitch channel.
