It’s a great time for NBA 2K fans with the My Career prelude launching September 8th. 2K has finally released a trailer for this mode along with some interesting details regarding how you can play My Career this year as well.
This year players will be able to take it back to the steeets; you will now be able to go into the “Neighborhood”. The Neighborhood is a new way to level up your player instead of going through the old method of playing through the NBA season to earn badges and level up your attributes.
For instance, if you only like to play in Pro Am then no worries, you can play Pro Am and level up your player that way or if you just like going to the Playground you can do that as well. Or you can just go through the grind of the regular NBA season, the choice is yours. In the Neighborhood you can also get a haircut, tattoos, clothes and even train in the Gatorade gym facility.
The Neighborhood will truly be alive to where players will be able to interact with others around the world. The only question that’s on the minds of fans is – how will the 2K servers hold up? That’s a question that will be answered once the game releases. Until then let’s enjoy the innovation that 2K has once again given the fans.
NBA 2K18 will release for the PS4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch September 14th.
