The creators of the Yakuza franchise are bringing an old anime classic back to life. That’s right Buronson’s Fist of the North Star is back! The announcement began with a teaser on the official Youtube page of Sega, titled Hokuto ga Gotoku.
Also if you haven’t heard of Fist of the North Start before here is a brief synopsis:
Kenshiroua traverses through a post apocalyptic world in search of his fiancé who was kidnapped by his long time rival Shin. Being trained in the deadly form of martial arts Hotuko Shinken, Kenshiroua is forever faced with ever increasing odds. Through countless battles with some seemingly unbeatable enemies, Kenshirou must fight through it all as the successor to Hotuko Shinken in order save the love of his life.
The game is set to release on PS4 in 2018. No announcements as of have been released on whether or not other consoles will be considered or if the title will this be a simultaneous release with Japan. For now lets just enjoy that a classic series is making its return and to consoles. Check out the trailer below.
