The Outer Worlds, the latest action RPG from Obsidian Entertainment, will finally be available on the Nintendo Switch on March 6th. The release date was annonced by the game’s publisher, Private Division, a few days ago. You can check out the announcement tweet for yourself below:

The Outer Worlds was written by the same team that created the earliest games in the Fallout series. You play as a character who has been in suspended animation for over a century before being awakened by a scientist who tells you that the Halcyon galaxy is in dismal shape after being mismanaged by all of the massive corporations in the area. As you would expect from a game in this genre, your actions will shape the outcome of your character’s narrative.

To be fair, we have known that The Outer Worlds was headed to the Switch for about a year now but we have not had an official release date announcement until last week. The Switch version of the game will debut with a price of $59.99. There will be a physical box available to purchase in stores but that version will not include a Switch game card. You will instead find an eShop download code in the box.
