Hellblade, the fantastic and emotional action game from Ninja Theory, has officially sold a million copies. Ninja Theory announced on Twitter today that Hellblade has officially sold 1 million copies across Playstation, PC and Xbox One. This is a huge milestone for this new IP from the studio that brought you such classics as Heavenly Sword, Enslaved: Odyssey to the West, and 2013’s Devil May Cry.

Ninja Theory was in the news during the week of E3 due to Microsoft officially announcing that they had purchased and added the studio to their first party studios. This will hopefully lead to more opportunities for Ninja Theory to expand on what projects they have been working on, as Hellblade was developed by a 20 person team. It should be very interesting to see what they could do with a larger team and budget.

Still haven’t played Hellblade yet? It is currently 40% off via the Steam Summer Sale, do not miss out on an opportunity to play one of the best games of 2017.
