Fallout 4 mods will be streamlined.

Mods in Fallout 4 will be streamlined says Bethesda’s vice president of public relations Pete Hines. During a launch event for Fallout 4, Pete Hines told Major Nelson that they are trying to make it a very simple process. He went on to say that picking a mod should work similarly to how gamers currently pick up DLC. Users will be able to search for Fallout 4 mods and then download them with a simple click. Pete Hines also added “The idea is you go to play the game and there’s a menu option and you click on it and there’s just a bunch of stuff for you to download. You click on the stuff you want and you start playing the game with these new mods. We want it to be a really streamlined, fun experience.”

Today Fallout 4 is available for all current-gen platforms, Bethesda doesn’t plan to release mods until 2016. Gamers around the world have been waiting for this day ever since they finished Fallout: New Vegas 5 years ago. It has been a very long time since a Fallout game for console was released, and critics have given the game high praise. Are you excited for mods in Fallout 4?
