Fallout 4 and Rise of the Tomb Raider tops UK Charts

Chart-Track released this weeks’ top selling games chart for the UK, and unsurprisingly Fallout 4 topped the list in the UK. Xbox Exclusive Rise of the Tomb Raider held it’s own against the onslaught of the launch of Fallout coming in at number 4. Surprisingly Rise of the Tomb Raider only launched on Friday the 13th in the UK, which is pretty awesome to see it chart with so little time to catch up.

Halo 5: Guardians remained in the top 10, with Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 taking the second spot. This was the first full week the latest in the Call of Duty franchise had in this chart. Activision noted that they sold $550 Million through to retail in the first week, and Bethesda revealed that their day one sell through was $750 Million. Chart-Track did state that 85% of Rise of the Tomb Raider sales was on Xbox One.

Games like Fallout 4, and Rise of the Tomb Raider have been topping the Xbox Live digital sales chart on a weekly basis, with Rise of the Tomb Raider outselling the latest Call of Duty game. It will be interesting to see if this trend continues.
