Captain America: Civil War details emerge

New details on the next installment of Captain America have surfaced. Civil War is set to hit the screens in May of 2016 and according to JoBlo, these details reveal the intentions and motivations various characters gracing the film.

Be warned! Possible Spoilers below!

T’Challa also known as the ‘Black Panther’ may not be fighting on the side fans of the Marvel cinematic universe expect. “Black Panther will be on a mission of his own that has nothing to do with the Rogers(Captain America)/Stark(Iron-Man) squabble“, according to JoBlo.com. They go on to say that, it does seem likely that Black Panther will stand more with ‘Iron-Man’ than with ‘Captain America’. Panther’s costume will be shrouded in Vibranium (the same material Captain America’s shield is made from) and also the key resource of Black Panther’s homeland, Wakanda. In addition to the sleek black costume for T’Challa, it appears that we will also be seeing a sleek Panther jet of some type, according to JoBlo.

Hawkeye is apparently getting a design alteration to his costume. The black ensemble donned by Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye will be having more purple added to it and will have more flair. This costume closely resembles the version from the Marvel 616 comics. Paul Rudd’s ‘Ant-Man’ will have a much bigger costume upgrade than the one he wears in the upcoming Ant-Man movie. The present costume being a nod to the 1960’s version that Michael Douglas wore. We can also expect to see Ant-Man morph into his Giant-Man form and square off against Stark and his team. We will also see Ant-Man standing on one of Hawkeye’s arrows, ready to be launched. Lastly, Don Cheadle’s ‘War Machine’ will star in Civil War and will get some serious armory upgrade. He will spot a new dual weapon that acts as a shoulder cannon/gun, that can also be detached and used as a kind of melee weapon.

Fans have already been treated to Falcon’s costume in Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Avengers: Age of Ultron and the costume will remain the same in Civil War but according to Joblo, Falcon will also be adding wrist laser and grappling hooks as well as a very familiar friend, Redwing. Redwing is the famous telepathically-linked bird that rolls with Falcon and is set to be a robotic drone linked to Falcon in Civil War. Redwing will be red in color and will resemble a cooler, modified MCU-like “bird” drone.

Finally, Steve Rogers aka Captain America will finally add his trademark chainmail armor to his suit, which has long been a staple of his uniform for fans of the comics. Chris Evans is set to reprise his role as Captain America and personally, Captain America: The Winter Soldier still remains my favorite movie of the MCU films.
