The PC gaming market seems to be embroiled in a storefront battle, which most notably has seen Epic Games buying up 1-year exclusivity deals on big triple AAA titles. No matter your opinion on this strategy, it appears to only be coming all too common to see another game go exclusively to the Epic Games Store. However, in a surprise announcement from developer/publisher Bethesda a slew of their upcoming releases will be releasing on Steam. It has been no secret that Bethesda has been trying to push their own storefront which saw Rage 2 be announced as a Bethesda Storefront exclusive. It seems Bethesda has had a change of heart as today their official Twitter account tweeted a list of games that would be coming to the Bethesda Games Store as well as Steam. Rage 2, Wolfenstein: Youngblood, Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot, and Doom Eternal would all be coming to Steam day 1. With Fallout 76 (which was previously only available through Bethesda’s launcher) will be coming to Steam at a later date.

This is a great announcement as one of the best aspects of gaming on PC is the flexibility in options. Now PC players can choose to purchase any Bethesda developed or published game from the storefront of their choosing.
