Battlefield V Delayed

DICE General Manager Oskar Gabrielson released a statement today saying that Battlefield V has officially been delayed until November 20th. Reasons for doing so are to ensure gameplay quality so fans can enjoy the game the way it was meant to be played. Battlefield’s multiplayer has continually been refined over the years and because of it, Battlefield has become one of the best multiplayer experiences out there.

The statement confirming that Battlefield V was delayed:

You’ve also spurred us to make some meaningful improvements to the core gameplay experience, including adjusting the gameplay tempo, improving soldier visibility and reducing player friction. You’ll see a lot of these reflected in our Open Beta that starts on September 6.

We believe we have one of the best Battlefield games ever on our hands.  A game that will deliver on an emotional journey through the return of unseen single player War Stories, a deep multiplayer experience, Battle Royale, along with our new live service, Tides of War – a journey across multiple theaters of WW2 and designed to keep our community together.

Hopefully this could also mean that they might have their Battle Royale ready for game launch, but I wouldn’t get my hopes up too much for that scenario. You can find the official statement here – Source. There is also not a very long time to wait until the Open Beta for Battlefield V goes live on Sept 6th, giving everyone a taste of what’s to come. There was also a new Xbox One X bundle announced in partnership with Battlefield V, giving this Xbox a gradient gold color to match the game.
