Ahiru no Sora Gets an Anime Adaptation

Takeshi Hinata’s Ahiru no Sora manga is getting an anime adaptation. The news come from the official twitter account, which you can take a look at below.

Here’s a brief synopsis of what you can expect for the upcoming anime: The story follows Sora Kurumantani, a 15 year old who adores basketball and is a basketball enthusiast; his only problem is that he is extremely short. Once he enters high-school he immediately tries to join the basketball team. Little does he know that the team is led by twins who rule the school. How will Sora fair with the dictators in the team?

The manga launched in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine back in 2004, with the next issue to be released on March 16th. With the end of Kuroko’s Basketball, a lot of sports fans may have felt empty, so hopefully this will fill the void.
