One day, Sena was being chased by bullies and it just so happened that Yoichi Himura (the quarterback of the Devil Deiman Bats) noticed Sena running from them. It wasn’t just the fact that he was running from the bullies, it was how he was running. The swift movements throughout the crowd, the amazing cuts and demonstration of speed that he was displaying blew Yoichi away. Needless to say Sena was recruited to the team and was given the name Eyeshield 21.
