With a new year comes a brand new season of anime shows. Leaving the old behind, it’s time to look ahead to the winter season. This coming year is setting up to be the best year for anime that I’ve seen in a long time so what better way to start it off than with my Top 5 most anticipated for the winter season? 5. Kaguya-sama: Love is War

Synopsis: “Kaguya Shinomiya and Miyuki Shirogane are two geniuses who stand atop their prestigious academy’s student council, making them the elite among the elite. But it’s lonely at the top and each has fallen for the other. There’s just one huge problem standing in the way of lovey-dovey bliss—they’re both too prideful to be the first to confess their romantic feelings and thus become the “loser” in the competition of love! 3. Dororo

Synopsis: “Muromachi Period, during the 1470s after the Wars of Onin and Bunmei. The story begins in the Noto Peninsula of the Hokuriku District. The main character (Hyakkimaru), who lacks as much as 48 body parts, obtains a fake body and eliminates 48 monsters that were made from his body to retrieve his missing body parts.”

2. Mob Psycho Season 2

Synopsis: “Kageyama Shigeo, a.k.a. “Mob,” is a boy who has trouble expressing himself, but who happens to be a powerful esper.
