Cygames have announced two Granblue Fantasy games Granblue Fantasy Versus, and GranBlue Fantasy: Relink. The announcement for Granblue Versus was made during the GranBlue Fest event that took place this past Saturday. The announcement for Granblue Fantasy: Relink was first announced back in August, which was titled project Re-link, but now we have a better look at the game.

The first Game Granblue Fantasy Versus is a 2D fighting game made by Arc System Works, the studio behind Dragon Ball FighterZ, Guilty Gear, and BlazBlue. In Granblue Fantasy Versus Players will battle with their favorite characters from the series in an all-out brawl. For those who are not familiar with the franchise, the developers have stated that the story mode of the game will be an original so that it will be easy for first-timers to understand. Also, the game will have an online versus and ranked mode. Grandblue Fantasy Versus will launch for the PlayStation 4 in Japan 2019.

At this moment there is no information if the game will make it over to the West. We will update you as soon as more information is released. So far only 5 playable characters been announced: Gran, Katalina, Charlotta, Lancelot, and Ferry.

The second game Granblue Fantasy: Relink, which will be developed by Cygames and Platinum Games will be a 3D action RPG where up to four players can play together in the Granblue universe. The game will be localized in English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish. This large language selection gives some credence that the game will be brought over to the West. Localization put on the side, new information has been demonstrated showing off a more polished game. Check out the newly released videos below.
